2. Make Sure the Room is Clear of Clutter
Always be sure to make sure the room where the new carpet will be is free of any clutter. Pick up any shoes, kid's or pet's toys, and anything else that might serve as a tripping hazard, or impede the progress of the installers, as they try to get started on the job.
3. Be Sure There is Access to Outlets and a Clear Path to the Outdoors
You might also want to make sure to clear the way to the outdoors, and that your crew knows where to find the electrical outlets that are close to the work site. This will make it easier for your installation crew to get in, get the job done, and be out of your hair as efficiently as possible, so you can get back to your normal routines.
